Parin FC extends lead after beating rivals African Kings 3-1

We have extended our lead in the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three league after beating African Kings 3-1 in the second round of the league.

We lost our maiden league game to them 2-1 in the first round, and Coach Eric Nyarko and his boys came into the game a determined side and announced their intention to seek revenge.

It was indeed a sweet revenge as workaholic midfielder Raphael Tetteh together with Robert Ankrah ensured the presented a strong midfield to secure victory for Parin FC.

Jones Adu Baah opened the scores for Parin in the first half.

Tetteh scored two fantastic goals to end the first half with 3-0 lead.

Parin FC maintained the lead in the second half and continue to dominate play.

But African Kings managed to get a consolation in the dying minutes of the game through Mustapha Ibrahim.

After this, it was an African Kings affair with occasional clearance from Parin FC till the close of the game. For us it was game management because the opponent became more aggressive in search of equalizer.

We now have now has 28 points and still on top of the league table.
